You have hit on exactly the same issue that every regulator in every country is experiencing. It is extremely difficult to effectively stop the black market operators from accepting traffic illegally.

I have also emailed my local MP about this as well, these sites are so easy to find and should be easy to ban. Hate to be dramatic here but these casinos are mostly used by people that have no where decent to go, they are advertised as non gamstop casinos.  There is no point to gamstop if any once can open a casino and break rules and allow UK players. 

I am all for freedom of speech, but this is actually harmful and should be treated that way. 

I have an android phone and have used software like K9. The problem is that for every block you find, there is a forum telling you how to breach it. I was able to do this when I became compulsive again. 

Gamstop does work but the internet is now flooded with dodgy non gamstop casinos and fake 5 star review sites about them. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be able to gamble with my own details which is exactly what I want, to be properly blocked.

PrinceAli stands out to me as being particularly irresponsble. I actually emailed the software providers to check if using a VPN to bypass restrictions is allowed. No response as yet. It always shocks me how little anyone cares about regulations.

While I appreciate why you feel that this should be easy, I can assure you that governments and regulators all over the world have invested time and money trying to restrict the blackmarket without success. Every pound spent on illegal sites is a pound that the UK government cannot tax. There's huge incentive for them to prevent this. It's not a lack of effort, it's that the task has to date proved impossible.

With regard to blocking softwares - K9 is a rather old software that's been discontinued for several years. In my opinion it was not strong when it was active. You may find our free Responsible Gambling app <a href="https://betblocker.org/">BetBlocker</a> useful. It allows users to restrict their internet capable devices from accessing over 14k gambling operator websites for between 24 hours and 5 years.

 I need your advice if that is OK?
 
 
 
 I am registered with Gamstop for five years because I find that if I am stressed, I gamble to clear my head and I always gamble to lose.
 
 
 Recently,  I have been dealing with a lot of stress caused by many serious issues which I don't want to post publicly. This has set me off on a gambling binge.
 
 
 Because of Gamstop, the only casinos available to play at are not very good and out of those I have tried to exclude from them. 
 
 
 Many of these block me for a month and then I have to request it again because 'they do not permanently exclude'. Which is terrible.
 
 
 I have even asked my bank to block me from depositing at casinos but they can't do anything if it is a third party payment system. It needs to have a merchant ID.
 
 
 I have tried blocking software but [EDIT] and i have tried counselling. Nothing really has helped. 
 
 
 One casino I am really annoyed about is Prince Ali. 
 
 
 I opened an account at the casino and deposited about €10. The games were all terrible ( no major providers). I ended up playing but then afterwards complained to them about the poor quality. 
 
 
 They told me to use a VPN to unlock all the games they have. 
 
 
 I thought this was really irresponsible but then because of what was happening at the time, i ended up doing it. 
 
 
 The payments were blocked but eventually went through and I played. 
 
 
 I understand i lost money, but why is this allowed? 
 
 
 This is a casino that is allowing UK players with limited access to the site, they then encourage them to use a VPN to pretend to be somewhere else and play the full games. 
 
 
 The deposits took 18 days to leave my account and they used a third party system. This has caused issues.
 
 
 So decent casinos lose money because they adhere by Gamstop etc These immoral ones don't pay tax and mop up all the addicted people like me and seem to be able to make the rules up as they go along.
 
 
 Surely they should be restrcted in the UK?
 
 
 I want to try and do something about this legally because gambling is a horrendous sickness and even when you try really hard to protect yourself, it doesn't work.
 
 I am just unsure how to go about doing this.
