Unfortunately you have chosen to play with a weakly licensed property. These operators function without appropriate licensing specifically so they do not have to adhere to the standards set out by regulatory authorities surrounding the protection of vulnerable players. As such, the chances of them deciding to take appropriate action in a case like this simply because we asked them to is vanishingly small.

You may find the free Responsible Gambling app BetBlocker useful. It allows users to restrict their internet capable devices from accessing over 119k gambling operator websites for between 24 hours and 5 years.

Complainant chose to play with weakly licensed operator and the protections they will offer against gambling addiction will be minimal. Our intervention won't change that.

I would like to submit a complaint regarding BassBet and the way my account closure requests were handled, as well as continued VIP and promotional communication after I clearly requested to stop gambling.

In March 2026 I contacted BassBet requesting account closure due to gambling-related losses and frustration. On 11 March 2026 I made a clear and definitive request for permanent account closure stating that I did not want my account to be reopened.

Despite this, my account remained active and I continued receiving VIP communication, promotional offers, and retention attempts. On 12 March 2026 I was contacted by a VIP manager via phone and encouraged to continue playing, while bonuses and VIP benefits were discussed.

After my closure request, I also received further emails and Telegram messages offering bonuses and cashback and encouraging continued deposits and gameplay.

Because of this continued communication and lack of effective account restriction, I continued gambling and incurred losses of approximately 4,950 PLN after my definitive closure request.

I believe BassBet failed to properly apply Responsible Gambling procedures after receiving a clear request to stop gambling. Instead of protecting my account, they continued marketing and VIP retention communication which influenced my continued play.

I am requesting a review of this case and consideration of whether BassBet acted correctly in handling my account closure request and whether appropriate Responsible Gambling procedures were followed.

I have attached supporting evidence including account closure requests, VIP communications, bonus offers, transaction history, and Telegram messages.
