The vague label of “professional” is not defined anywhere in their rules, and they have provided no evidence of any wrongdoing. If they accepted my bets, they should honor the outcome. Instead, they are now using this excuse as a reason to **confiscate €1,150** in winnings, which is both unethical and potentially fraudulent.

Hello CasinoReviews Team,

I would like to provide an important update to my complaint against Chipstars.

Recently, I published a review on Trustpilot, where I explained that Chipstars confiscated my €1,150 winnings using the vague and undefined excuse of being a "professional player." I also clarified that I fully completed their KYC, even submitting a notarised copy of my passport at my own expense.

Chipstars replied publicly to my review (15 August 2025) with the following statements:

1. They claim my account was blocked by an “external sportsbook provider” due to a “professional style of play.”
2. They claim I “did not complete the KYC process.”

Both claims are false and contradictory:

- My contract is with Chipstars, not with any “external provider.” As the licensed operator, Chipstars is fully responsible for honoring player balances. They cannot shift accountability to a third party.
- I have already complied with all KYC requirements and submitted every requested document, including the notarised passport. In my public reply on Trustpilot, I again confirmed that I am ready to provide anything further if needed. Chipstars has not provided any evidence that my KYC is incomplete.

These statements directly contradict each other and prove that Chipstars is deliberately avoiding payment of legitimate winnings by inventing excuses.

Sadly there's nothing further that we could recommend to you. Chipstars hold a Curacao license. Whilst this regulator is in the process of introducing a complaint management system, it is not currently in force and we have significant concerns about impartiality of the policies that they intend to put in place.

Found Against the Operator - Chipstars has failed to provide sufficient evidence to convince our team their actions are justified.

I registered on Chipstars and deposited around €22. Over a period of about 3 months, I placed only **live sports bets** and gradually increased my balance to **€1,150**.

When I submitted a withdrawal request, Chipstars initiated a full KYC verification process. I fully cooperated and provided **all requested documents**, including a **notarized copy of my passport**, which I obtained at my own expense.

The documents were accepted for review, but shortly after, support **completely stopped responding**. Later, my account was **permanently blocked**, and they claimed that I was a “professional gambler.”

This accusation is **completely false**. I am **not a professional gambler** and I have **never violated any of their terms and conditions**. I have only **one account**, made no arbitrage bets, and simply played by the rules.

**It has now been more than six months** since my withdrawal request, and I have received **no response, no resolution, and no refund**. I have already submitted complaints via **Casinomeister**, **Casino Guru**, and other dispute platforms — all without success.

This behavior by Chipstars is unethical and appears to be a deliberate attempt to **avoid paying legitimate winnings** under a fabricated excuse. I demand that they be held accountable and required to return my rightful balance of **€1,150**.
