Regarding your question why I am requesting reimbursement:

I am not requesting a goodwill refund simply because I lost during ordinary gameplay. My claim is for reimbursement of my net cash loss based on DuxCasino’s own DSAR/account data and the surrounding circumstances.

DuxCasino’s own payment records show accepted deposits of EUR 50,335.00 and accepted withdrawals of EUR 42,888.64. This results in a net cash loss of EUR 7,446.36. In the alternative, at least EUR 5,749.94 relates to the period on or after 1 October 2021.

The reason I consider reimbursement appropriate is that my DuxCasino account was linked to Dutch personal data and the account/event records overwhelmingly place the activity in the Netherlands. I repeatedly asked DuxCasino / N1 Interactive Ltd to address my Dutch player/account status, the post-1 October 2021 period, the absence of a Dutch remote gambling licence, the DSAR-based reconciliation, and the responsible-gambling records on my account, including repeated cooling-off periods and self-exclusions.

DuxCasino refused reimbursement but did not provide a substantive legal response to those points. Instead, it relied mainly on general Terms and Conditions, “consumed funds”, and statements that bets/losses are final. That does not answer the substance of my claim.

In short, I am requesting reimbursement because this is not merely a dispute about normal gambling losses. It concerns the operator’s acceptance of substantial deposits from a Netherlands-linked player, the post-1 October 2021 regulatory context, the operator’s own DSAR payment reconciliation, repeated responsible-gambling indicators, and the operator’s failure to provide a substantive response or clear ADR referral after multiple internal requests.

For clarity, my primary claim is EUR 7,446.36. In the alternative, I request at least EUR 5,749.94 for the period on or after 1 October 2021.

Please let me know if you require any additional specific documents. Some verification documents, such as ID documentation, contain highly sensitive personal data; if you require those, please confirm whether a redacted version is sufficient.

After careful consideration of the communications you provided and the response above, unfortunately there is nothing we can do to help you in this instance. As explained in our Complaints FAQs we do not pursue refunds of losses based on lack of license.

If your own government cannot prevent unlicensed operators from accepting their citizens, there is no possibility of the operator offering a refund simply on the basis of us asking them to.

For the record, I do not agree that my complaint was based solely on lack of licence. My complaint also concerned DuxCasino / N1 Interactive Ltd’s DSAR-based payment reconciliation, the handling of my formal complaint, the absence of a substantive response, the failure to address responsible-gambling records, and the lack of a clear ADR referral despite repeated requests.

That said, I understand that CasinoReviews is not willing to proceed with this complaint under its complaint-handling remit.

Please confirm that your email of 26 May 2026 represents CasinoReviews’ final position and that complaint request 9871 is now closed or will be closed on that basis. I will provide this outcome to the Malta Gaming Authority as part of my pending complaint.

In the case of requesting a DSAR, if the operator is not co-operative, you would need to contact a governmental organisation in your country that enforces GDPR and consumer rights.

I am submitting a complaint against DuxCasino / N1 Interactive Ltd concerning my DuxCasino account.

I formally asked DuxCasino / N1 Interactive Ltd to address the following issues: my Dutch player/account status, the acceptance of substantial deposits from a player in the Netherlands, the post-1 October 2021 period, the absence of a Dutch remote gambling licence, the DSAR-based payment reconciliation, and the responsible-gambling records.

DuxCasino has refused reimbursement. However, its responses rely mainly on general Terms and Conditions, “consumed funds”, and statements that bets/losses are final. The operator has not provided a substantive response to the DSAR reconciliation, the Dutch player/account facts, the post-1 October 2021 period, the responsible-gambling records, or the legal basis on which it denies reimbursement despite these issues.

DuxCasino also failed to provide a clear ADR referral despite my repeated requests.

I request that CasinoReviews reviews this dispute and the operator’s refusal, and that DuxCasino / N1 Interactive Ltd reimburses EUR 7,446.36, or alternatively at least EUR 5,749.94 for the period on or after 1 October 2021.
