We've discussed this matter with the operator and sadly we cannot uphold your claim.

Your play with LVBet was between February and July 2023.

Over this period you deposited a total of €54464.17 and withdrew €30305, leaving you with a net loss of €24159.17.

We understand your concern regarding Source of Wealth checks, however these checks are not something that are uniformly required by regulation and are instead implemented where there are significant risk factors that indicate either potential financial irregularities or harmful engagement with the service.

Throughout your lifespan with the operator, LVBet repeatedly interacted with you, asking to ensure you were comfortable with your levels of play and directing you to the various tools that were available to help you manage your gambling. In each of these interactions you were polite and friendly, offering no signs of emotional distress, reassured the operator that you were comfortable with your levels of play and acknowledged your awareness of the various tools and limits that the operator make available to players.

The operator also checked with you what your income levels were in March 2023, during a period of higher activity levels, to which you informed them that your monthly income was €10k-15k/month and that you'd had a €60k win earlier in the year.

While there were periods of higher levels of activity on your account, the most significant of these in March 2023, these tended to follow wins meaning that your net losses during these periods of higher activity levels were no higher than the average loss across other lower level months of play. These also coincided with increased responsible gambling interventions on the operators part.

Your average monthly losses fall well within an affordable bracket based on the income you reported to the operator and the documentation you provided during KYC checks did not provide any indication of debt or loans.

In summary - whilst you have lost a substantial amount of money, this was within a reasonable affordability bracket given the information you provided to the operator, you evidenced no substantial escalations in activity that weren't balanced by win, the operator engaged appropriate interactions with you at appropriate points, your responses to these interactions were level and reassuring that you were within your comfort zone and the financial documentation you did provide gave no reason for red flags.

Whilst we understand this will not be the answer you were hoping for, it is the opinion of this service that the operator has managed your play in a manner that would be compliant with the standards laid out for them in their license.

Well, what can I say. I even got banned from Astropay, which I used as a deposit method most of the time, when they asked me to provide documents that verified my income - not just depending on what I said in. As I couldn't provide any documents strengthening what they calculated to be a monthly salary of 15.000 euro they shut down my account.



As not verifying my income and wealth to make sure my gambling and net losses was within the limits of my economy was my main reasoning as to why I feel LVBet has failed with their responsibility and taken advantage of my gambling problems, it's of course sad to see that communications via emails in hope to be able to continue gambling (as I coudlnt verify it with documents) overweights documents that actually would verify it.



It's saddening to see that there's obviously no responsibility needed from gambling sites regarding money laundring or the economy of their players within the MGA license - considering even the payment services they used to deposit money on the sites ban the users before they even ask for a document that strengthen the users economy.



Overall, I hope this complaint is seen by a few and hopefully people stay away from MGA licensed casinos and betting sites in the future.



Obviously this complaint team have their hands tied behind the back thanks to bad regulations within the license itself - so as I would recommend others using your services I would at the same time not have their hopes too high considering this.

Found for the Operator - Review of this player's interactions with the operator offers no indication of gambling addiction and the player has knowingly provided the operator with false information to mislead the operator.

I'm in debt after gambling with loans on lvbet while being addicted to gambling. They have presented me with tools and some questions over email regarding being aware of gambling issues - but at the same time brought me into their VIP-club without taking any verificated form of Source of Wealth or Income. They kept me playing offering me bonuses, and I had a huge amount of deposits and net losses on their site that is way above the refund I look for, as well as a very high amount of bets placed (won and lost 80.000 euro within 30 days for example) that are all clear signs of aggressive patterns and gambling issues.



At the same time my year salary for 2023 was approximately 9000 euro. For the entire year. LVBET never fully took responsibility to actually ask for any verification documents for my income or any wealth. Nor did they ask for documents strengthening the fact that I might have won the money from another site and spent it on theirs instead.



All of my gambling losses on LVBET come from loans which I'm now in debt for. I believe their responsibility under MGA license makes them responsible to have verificated my income and wealth, especially after inviting me into their VIP-club.



I would expect to receive a refund of some of my net losses to reduce my debts due to this. So far their only answer is No, and they mostly refer it to their own terms & conditions - but I still believe that their responsibility to the MGA license triumphs this.
