Thank you for your reply. However, I kindly request that you thoroughly review the communications again, as there appears to be a misunderstanding.

Firstly, the €50 deposit in question was not made using a 3rd-party payment method. It was a virtual gift card (Mastercard) purchased for me by a friend via an online store. This does not constitute the use of a payment method registered under someone else’s name, as it is a legitimate gift card that I had full rights to use.

Additionally, I have previously offered to provide proof, such as a receipt or even a letter of consent, to clarify the origin and validity of the gift card. Despite this, the only solution mentioned to me was to initiate a chargeback, which I find unreasonable given the circumstances. If this card were truly in someone else’s name or posed any issue, wouldn’t the casino have already received a chargeback?

I have adhered to all terms and conditions and do not accept the accusation of using a 3rd-party payment method. This situation has caused undue stress, and I respectfully ask for a proper review of the facts to resolve this matter fairly.

Regarding your question, I am not certain whether the card had a name on it, as I did not physically possess it. A friend of mine in the UK purchased the virtual gift card and provided me with the details so that I could use it as a gift. As such, I did not have access to any physical or detailed documentation beyond the card information itself. Additionally, the website you referenced is not the exact source from which the card was obtained.

That being said, I find it unreasonable that we are still stuck on this particular deposit made over six months ago. I may have even had funds in my account prior to that deposit, and, more importantly, I have deposited over €2,000 using my verified payment methods. Given these facts, it is absurd that this continues to be an issue while my rightful withdrawal remains withheld.

I have had no contact with this person for over two months, and I already offered to provide information about this card six months ago when this issue first started. If this was truly necessary, why was it never requested by the casino back then?

A manager was supposedly handling my case, yet at no point did they ask for this, nor did they make any real effort to resolve the situation. Instead, I have faced nothing but endless delays, excuses, and outright refusal to comply.There has been no fraudulent activity from my side, nor have I ever provided any fraudulent documents—nor will I ever do so. I have always complied with every request made to me.



At this point, I would have expected a final conclusion, along with instructions to provide my bank details so that the payment of my money can proceed.

The reason I find this unreasonable is not simply because you are requesting this information now, but because the casino management failed to ask for any such proof when I first raised this issue six months ago. Instead, they allowed the situation to drag on, and now you are insisting on reaching the conclusion that the payment method was not in my name—as if this is some new revelation.

To be clear, the payment method was not in my name. It does not even belong to a bank or financial institution in the traditional sense. This is not a black-and-white situation. Six months ago, a friend in the UK—whom I have since fallen out with—sent me details for a virtual gift card. It was created, used once, and then it ceased to exist. There is no ongoing account or ownership to verify. Do you expect me to dig through old messages to find when he sent it to me? This is exactly why I find your stance unreasonable.

Unfortunately we will not be moving forward until such time as you have provide some evidence to demonstrate that you were the legal owner of the payment method that was used.

Whilst we're sorry to hear of your frustration, your interactions with the operator in this respect is a customer service issue that the operator is responsible for. We can clearly see a potential issue via your communications with us, and the reason that the operator has taken the position they have, and we're asking you to provide the relevant evidence to address the situation.

At this juncture, given the situation you have communicated, we do expect you to "dig through old messages to find when he sent it to me?" ADRs serve as a more easily accessed alternative to pursuing a complaint to the court systems. Being more easily accessed does not diminish your responsibility to be able to evidence your claim. If you turned up to a court hearing without being able to provide the appropriate supporting evidence, your claim would be ruled on the evidence that is available. The same is true of the ADR process. You have used a payment method that at the present time you have been unable to evidence as belonging to you. The operator has clear terms prohibiting use of any 3rd party payment methods.

With regard to our role, if the regulator has decided to actively investigate this matter rather than defer it to us, we would defer this case to their authority and decline further involvement. If you believe that to be the case, please forward the communications from the regulator that evidence that position.

It is becoming increasingly clear that this process is no longer about fairness or proper dispute resolution but rather about finding excuses to justify the casino withholding my €400. I have fully complied with every request, provided all relevant details, and remain willing to submit any additional evidence, including my verified payment methods, my full transaction history, my balance before the €50 deposit, and all communications with the casino. Yet, instead of addressing the core issue, you continue to fixate on a single deposit while ignoring the fact that my winnings did not originate solely from it.Please refer to my last email or google if you need to educate yourself on what and how online gift cards work.

Your comparison to a court process is both inappropriate and misleading. A legitimate court would examine all the facts, recognize the clear wrongdoing, and ensure that my funds were returned. Instead, you appear to be facilitating the operator’s actions rather than acting as an independent adjudicator.

Furthermore, your insistence on evidence regarding the gift card demonstrates a complete misunderstanding of how such payment methods function. You claim I have not proven ownership—because I do not own it, as it was a gift. Yet, instead of considering the totality of my account history and transactions, you now expect me to retrieve a six-month-old personal message as if that constitutes valid financial evidence. That is not how proper investigations are conducted, and no real regulatory or legal body would apply such an unreasonable standard.

It is also worth noting your selective enforcement of terms. You repeatedly refer to the casino’s prohibition on third-party payments but conveniently ignore the fact that they are also not authorized to operate in my country. To answer your various points:

i) You have not to date complied with the requests we have made. In fact, you have looked to avoid providing any evidence that you were in fact the owner of the payment method in question. Whilst we understand that you feel you have complied with the requests you want to view as legitimate, that is not the same thing as having complied with "every request".

ii) The comparison to the court systems is both legitimate and factual. That is the core basis of what the ADR system is established to do. We have reviewed all of the information you have provided. And we have determined that the core issue here relates to a payment method that may or may not be 3rd party in nature. We have asked you to provide appropriate evidence to demonstrate that the payment method was in fact legally owned by you.

iii) As already shown, Mastercard gift cards have names on them. Generally that would be the name of the person you are gifting the card to. Being asked to obtain appropriate communication records is not an onerous request, or in any way unreasonable.

iv) With regard to the legitimacy of Slot Hunter's license Cyprus, the MGA does not prohibit their licensees from accept player from Cyprus. The MGA license view as legitimate your activity with this gambling operator. As explained in our Complaints FAQs we do not pursue refunds of losses based on lack of local license. We are empowered to act as part of the MGA regulatory system not the Cypriot licensing system. If you are look to enfore Cypriot law, you need to contact the relevant authorities in Cyrpus. This aspect of your claim has not been ignored, it is simple non-relevant to our review.

Your statement above suggests uncertainty regarding the ownership of the gift card. We've asked you to provide evidence to support that your friend registered your name on the gift card, as is standard when buying a gift card for a third party. You now seem to be asserting that you know the card was not registered in your name, which sadly means that this was in fact a 3rd party payment and in violation of terms.

At no point have we accused you of anything. We're actually relatively sympathetic to your frustrations and understand how you have ended-up in this situation. But if the payment method was not yours, this is a violation of the terms you agreed to. Unless you can evidence your friend transferring ownership of this payment method to you, this is a violation of the operator's terms of use, which would void all play associated with that deposit.

Yes, providing email records from the person who transferred the gift card evidencing the card being given to you could help support your claim.

At this juncture i) we could not comment on whether the operator should have verified your address, there are many factors that influence when this type of verification should be conducted ii) confirming adherence to relevant fraud and money laundering prevention laws is not a transactional issue and would not fall inside the authority of an ADR service (i.e. it is not within our authority to enforce these standards) and iii) whether your address was verified or not has no bearing on the fairness of the gambling transactions in question, or the legitimacy of using a third party payment method.

At no point during my communications with you or the casino did I ever state that the card was in my name. You are now twisting my words to fit the narrative that I misrepresented the situation, which is simply not true.

I appreciate that you feel bad for my situation, but by continuously ignoring the fact that this was a gift card—which, by nature, does not belong to a financial institution—you are making an accusation by implying wrongdoing where there is none. A gift card does not function the same way as a standard bank card, and its name could just as easily be something random, like “Pokémon Pikachu.” The point is, I never physically possessed the card, nor did I ever claim it was in my name.

Your own quoted message from me shows uncertainty because I never saw the physical card. That does not mean I ever stated it was mine or registered to me. My stance has been consistent: this was a gift card given to my friend, who then gave me the details to use. That is the full extent of the situation, and continuing to frame it as a standard third-party financial transaction is misleading.

This was not a third-party payment method in the traditional sense. A third-party transaction implies that someone else’s personal or financial account was used to make the deposit, which is not the case here. A gift card does not have an “account holder” or a “legal owner” in the same way a bank account or e-wallet does. You've discussed emails that may be able to help evidence your claims, but have not provided these.

The ball is in your court. But let with just the information you've provided to date, there is no case for us to pursue. You simply asserting you were the legal owner of the funds is not sufficient to contest the operator's actions.

Sadly, there's nothing we can do to assist you in this situation. We genuinely appreciate your frustrations, and certainly understand that feel accused in this circumstance. However, we would be clear that no-one is accusing you of criminality here.

There are two different aspects to this claim. The first relates to evidencing your ownership of the funds in question. The reality that you cannot provide any evidence to demonstrate that the funds in question belong to you is problematic, and that combined with a payment method that can be misappropriated is problematic. But that does not sufficiently evidence that you have done anything 'wrong' in this situation.

The second aspect of your claim relates to the following term:


> "The Company does not accept third party payments. You must make deposits only from a bank account, bank cards, e-wallets or other payment methods that are registered in your own name. If we determine during the security checks that you have violated this condition, your winnings will be confiscated and original deposit returned to the owner of the payment account. The company is not responsible for the lost funds deposited from third party accounts."


Effectively, this summarises as 'only use payment methods registered in your own name'.

In most instances, breaking the terms of use at an online gambling operator isn't a criminal issue. It's simply not having kept to the rules of the casino. In this particular instance, it's not that much different than borrowing a friend or family member's card to deposit. It breaches the operator's terms of use, and as such voids the play, but isn't a criminal issue, nor is it an issue of honesty.
